Best radial for no prep?
Local track puts on a "true street" event on a no prep surface. One of the rules is you have to use a DOT approved radial. I currently am running a pair of PBR's and love them but they are not DOT approved. So what is the best radial for no prep? MT pro? Hoosier?

If the track ends up like most no prep events the starting line will end up good by the middle of the event, but 80 feet out will be slick so you can hit it harder at the start but then have to ease power in from about 1 second to 2.5, then roll it in and prey lol.
dunno what you’re dealing with power wise or what you can do to control it... or if you need to worry about it .

Thanks, I'll look at the d06. The last no prep I did I was leaving off the trans brake and the car was hooking. I ramped the nitrous in pretty slow. Half track or so I had to correct the car once or twice to keep the *** end in line lol. This was on a PBR with around 700hp on spray

They had a radial slick, not sure of that has a dot sticker.
do the tires have to be radial? The qtp line are bias ply but have a dot stamp on them would that work? I’ve run those with a tube and they worked decent, the 27x11 size fits a f body and requires no mods- that tire is decent. If you can run those, with a tube in them they will work pretty good. Never tried them on a double beadlock but I bet the added sidewall stiffness the beadlock gives, along with the tube would make them work even better.
