Torque Arm Clunking Movement

Torque Arm Clunking Movement
Good Morning all,
I know this has been discussed before and ultimately what I've been able to determine is most people chalk it up to the torque arm bushing on the transmission tail housing. I've looked under the car and the bushing "appears" to be fine. What I was able to actually see was when I had the car in reverse and backing out of my drive way I was looking under the car and pumping the breaks at very low speed. When I pump the break I can see the rear of the torque arm moving upward along with the rear end causing a clunking sound. While I'm driving and coming to a stop, the transmission begins to downshift causing a similar clunk. It's pretty noticeable.
I'm sure my motor mounts are worn and will eventually be replaced when I get to doing LT headers.
My question is what might be causing the rear of the torque arm to be flexing upward? Should I look into a new trans mount (which again "appears" to be fine)? Should I look into getting an aftermarket torque arm? Will a relocation bracket solve my issue? Will driving the car like this put my trans in jeopardy?
Any help is appreciated thanks.
