Default 10 Ply tires....🤔 what brand for me ?

Whats the best bang for the buck 10 ply tires?

The tires will be for my 97 Silverado 3/4 ton. The truck will never be a daily driver but its go serve as a tow rig for my Camaro on a open 20 foot trailer when needed and its go serve as a spare vehicle thats on reserved when needed. I need a recommendation for a tire that wont break the bank, but that can take a payload as well.

I've had good luck with general grabber at3. They do hold rocks but otherwise a good tire.

I don’t think you can go wrong with a bfg ko2. I’m a firm believer of you get what you pay for when it comes to tires though.

I was going to suggest the General Grabber line, They are used on quite a few fleet vehicles and hold up very well for their price.

I have had really good luck with toyo open country at tires, have them on my duramax with 30k miles on them and they are wearing well and work great.

KO2 for sure, great tire! Also the Cooper AT3 isn't a bad choice for the money. Still an American made tire. I've put a lot of both of these tires on in the shop and with good rotations they hold up well. Looks wise I prefer the BFG between the 2. I've also used the Grabber That someone mentioned, not a bad tire either but personally if you have the cash go with the BFG. I don't recall seeing a size, I assume we're talking about stock size 265's?

I've never put a set of these on but I've replaced a few sets with different tires. Most of the ones I've taken off looked like they wore fairly flat and I like that. Toyo tends to be a little pricey but I'm sure no more than the BFG. Honestly, in the shop I see so much, Especially on diesel trucks and I consider any tire that will last on a diesel truck to be a good tire. Idk if it's the weight of the truck or the way it applies torque to the tire or if it's a combination of the two but a diesel truck will whip the **** out of tires.

The last set of bfg’s I bought 10 years ago stone chipped the hell out of my black truck. They are a good looking tire but I wouldn’t buy another set for that reason alone. Since then I have either ran Michelin m/s or toyo’s. I will be buying another set of toyos for my diesel when these are spent .

265/75/16 is the tire size on my truck.

They look really good, I like a tire that fills up the wheel itself. So many truck tires hand such narrow tread. That's sharp brotha. I can understand trying to protect that paint. I just kinda expect it to be the nature of the beat for an A/T tire to toss rocks occasionally. Honestly I had a set of KM2's that rarely ever would.
