3.23 to 3.73?
Looking for input. I have an 01 TA Auto Dyno'd at 473. Car is strictly a wknd cruiser around town. Would it be worth it to upgrade from my 3.23 to 3.73? I have 275's in the back. I would be doing the work with my buddy if its worth it.

I wouldn't do it, assuming you have a properly matched stall speed already in place (assuming you do based on those power numbers).
3.23 to 3.73 is worth 1 tenth of ET reduction (max) with any LS1 + 4L60E combo when a 3500+ stall speed is already in place.
With 473rwhp, you have plenty of power to get off the line hard. Adding more gear would just make traction even more difficult and reduce MPG during steady cruising in lockup.
3.23 is an ideal street gear for a 4L60E car with that kind of power and a properly matched stall speed.
If you don't already have a properly matched stall speed, then I definitely wouldn't consider spending money or time on anything else until after you upgrade the converter.

3.73s would make the converter feel a bit tighter, that's probably the biggest "advantage" (that is, if you're one of the folks who is bothered at all by any looseness of the stall speed).
MPG would also be reduced due to higher cruising rpms at lockup speeds. Not that this really matters for a toy, but it's something of which to be aware.
Also, you would need a retune of the PCM to correct the speedometer and the shift points.
