Default Who wants a Nitrous kit?

Since I am fast enough at the track, I think I am gonna sell the nitrous kit.

It is absolutely complete and DAMN NEAR NEW. The kit is composed of a Nitro Dave Halo nitrous system (all NX brand equipment) with some added goodies:

15 lb NX bottle With the required Blowdown Tube

15-20 ish Feet of 4-an feed line

2 NX solenoids (the one that came with the kit is kinda small) So I bought the biggest NX Nitrous solenoid they make and used the supplied solenoid for the Purge. This Combination of solenoids will give you a huge Purge plume and the big boy flows more nitrous than you are ever gonna run.

NX Electronic Throttle Position switch. This one is still new in the wrapper. This lets you tap into the TPS on the throttle body to activate the system. That way there is no extra switches under the hood, pretty trick.

2 3-an lines. One for the Purge and one for the Halo ring.

Nitro Daves Halo Dry Nitrous Ring (See Video Here). This guy fits under the air lid for a very stealthy and CLEAN install.

1 Aerospace Components Billet Nitrous Bottle Bracket (Over $150 alone). Here is a link

5 Jets of your choice, I have a ton. 12-76 (30hp-200hp).

Also includes all the wiring you need, switches, relays, etc.

The kit costs $550 from Nitro Dave, the Larger solenoid was an extra $130, The Bottle bracket $150, the Electric TPS Cost $92. As you can see this is a top of the line nitrous kit, that cost over $920 to put together.

$550.00 And If you want, I'll help install it at my place.

Hmmmmmm, that might make a nice Viper killer mod for my car, since I can't afford a turbo! Let me check the bank account. Ellis & Tbyrne have kind of killed it, but that is the exact setup I was pondering. A nice 75-100 shot might even get me close to the 11.5 mark. I'll let you know Ryan, but don't feel obliged to hold it for me....

Is there enough line to put it in the spare tire well?

Mark

You can, its a tight fit with the big bottle. Plenty of line. Looks real nice all the way in the back pocket.

Mark wants to get to the bottom 11's and hide the bottle.

I want it for shows, put the bottle right where everyone can see it. When Jason did the Snohomish show with us that bottle got a lot of attention.

This is gonna keep me up tonight, I don't need it but would be cool, should I? If I do where to mount the bottle? Should the bottle be painted to match the car or polished? Oh and yeah Melanie will ask where is the money coming from?

Okay guys give me some opinions??????????

$550... that's a damn good price. I too will check my thimble-sized coffers and see what I can come up with... probably dust bunnies, but that's the kit I was asking Nitro Dave about a couple months ago.

Would go nicely with the secret weapon I just bought...

Ryan, would that work in my T/A with that torque converter I just picked up from you? I can paypal you the cash right away if it will work. And it might be worth the trip back over there just for that view from your deck!

PayPal will add 3% so, $565.00. Paypal Address: rkarasek@wavecable.com

Should work great Howard, But you are REALLY REALLY gonna need that roll cage. Also can we trade Air Lids, the MTI lid that I have is already drilled for the Halo Ring.

Let me know,
Ryan

Well, I am out of this race. After I pay off Ellis, IF I have any $$ left over, I will be buying a cage. The basic list IS complete for drag racing now. So it's time to get the list complete for ORR this year. And this would be VERY nice, but not a requirement.

Have fun whoever gets this....sounds like a killer deal.

Don't throw it over there yet. My car payment is due Monday and I have to make sure I get some money transferred for that. I have the money in the paypal acct for it and I am pretty sure I want it. How long would it take to install and when could we hook it up?

I could install it in 2-3 hours, if everything goes smooth. The convertable might throw that off a bit.

I have to give the local boys a shot first! But If nobody here bites, I'll keep you on the top of the list.
