I just recentally got an LS2 for my 99 Trans am , now theres quite a few things that are different from the LS1 on the Block , the Oil pump sensor is different , the injector plug in's are different, i noticed that i would have to extend my wiring to the front for the Crank sensor to be relocated the knock sensors on the LS2 are located on the side of the block instead of under the intake manifold, and i noticed that the throttle bodys are different on the LS2 its wired not cable driven. I see also on the LS2 that the Oil pan is a little longer from front to back of the engine , now that would not sit down on the crossmember right , now Anyone have any answers for these Questions or know any websites that i can convert LS1 Wiring to LS2 Please let me know ... Thanks you much... But my last question is if i do hook an LS2 wiring harness up to my computer its probally not gunna work the way it should , WOuld the Car even start up after i installed the harness and pluged everything in and hooked it up ? IF you can PLEASE help me out or if you have anyweb sites that give any good information for this let me know ... thanks ...

Solution: Your LS1 sensor is the same thread, just swap it
Problem: Injector plugs
Solution: Run your LS1 injectors in the LS2 manifold/rail with our spacer kit, or use our injector adapter harness to use the LS2 injectors
Problem: Cam and Knock sensors
Solution: Our Cam/Knock extension harness. Use your LS1 knock sensors in the side of the block. Motor mount holes are the same thread. If you have clearance issues with the headers you can use the LS2 knock sensor holes if you tap the thread larger.
Problem: Throttle body
Solution: We sell the UMI 90mm cable throttle body. You have to fab your own cable bracket.
Problem: Oil pan
Solution: Try your F-body oil pan.

One more thing not listed:
Problem: MAP sensor wires too short
Solution: MAP sensor extension harness $25.99

How Can You Tell The Difference Between A 24x Reluctor And A 58x Reluctor On The Ls2 Engines ? Is There Anyway I Am Able To Use The 24 Throttle Body By Wire Thats On The Crate Engine For My 1999 Trans Am ? And I Would Defantally Like To Purchase The Cam/knock Harness For The Ls2 And Also Would Like To Purchase The Fuel Injector Adaptor Harness Too , How Would You Go About Doing That ?
