LOL We forgive you since you are being such a good sport about it.

Truth be told, I'm sure we have all said silly things before we knew a lot about cars. Hell, I still do sometimes.

Well, I didn't make it this year. Not even close. 10.03@134 on a 200 leaving very lazy was all I got. I didn't really get to make an honest attempt at it. Backfires on consecutive runs the last day the track was open kind of ruined it.

I guess I gave it a shot, and am man enough to say I couldn't run the number when it counted. Best of luck to you guys that are still racing.

Yeah, I'm gonna put the car away for a while and take care of some pre-winter stuff. I just need some time to decide wether to go big cubed or not.

We are starting to see some termination dusting on the mountains here, and with the wet/cold summer we've had, we'll probably see some decent snow by the end of October.

Honestly, if I can make 1 clean pass on a 200 shot, I'm gonna hit it with 300 just to see. Already got the OK from the boss to build a big cubed motor if "anything were to happen to my motor". So we'll see how it goes.

Nope, electrical issues fucked me all year. I had it in the bag on my last pass till the nitrous shut off on me.... I had a shitty 60' but it trapped 118 in the 1/8th then started ******* up...

Every bit of wiring is ripped out of my car right now. I won't have that problem again.

I think if I put a 3.70 gear in my Camaro and pill it up it would run good, went 133 with a 150 jetted fat.

the official LT1 record is a 9.44@139, but that was a junk pass. it should have been a 9.2x@141-142ish. i just havent been back to a 1/4 track yet.

THATS MOVING
Was that 100% stock bottom end or just stock cube. I have stock bottom end LS1 and went 9.40 couple of weekends ago leaving on a 50 shot..

stock crank, stock rods, stock pistons. i did put a fresh set of bearings in it, along with some oem rings awhile back. its got around 130k miles on it or something like that, and i honed the bores for the new rings.
it went a 9.60 or something like that with a 175 shot. i was wanting to bomb it before taking the motor out to see how close it could get to the 8's. lol
