I was going with a bbc spray motor and after I saw how much cam I'd have to run to make the power I wanted it just seemed worse and worse for a street strip car.
The power guys were making on pump gas 1500-1600 hp, with 509-540". I'm most likely going with twin 80mm's on pump gas in a 509 with a 335 cc cnc head, the 3/4 deck afrs seem really nice. I am trying to figure out how to custom mount mine behind the shock towers.

This was a full steel car..we could only abuse it with the 32 pills anything more and the car would just spin...lol oh yea we only had to change the valve springs twice a summer!
