67 camaro 422 LS1
Ok I figured it was time, this one goes back to bowling green in 2003
67 CAMARO 422 CUBE ls1 9.63 @ 143 Tanner killed me on the tree and the ride down the track was about 1600ft as you can see by watching the car laydown about 500 ft of black track!

Ahh you read my freakin mind man! I would love to buy one of the '41 fiberglass bodies and put a big cube LS engine in it with the jug! That would be an awesome street ride!

I was going with a bbc spray motor and after I saw how much cam I'd have to run to make the power I wanted it just seemed worse and worse for a street strip car.
The power guys were making on pump gas 1500-1600 hp, with 509-540". I'm most likely going with twin 80mm's on pump gas in a 509 with a 335 cc cnc head, the 3/4 deck afrs seem really nice. I am trying to figure out how to custom mount mine behind the shock towers.
