If you do end up buying this kit, make sure that your piston valve reliefs will work with the 20* valve angle Holley heads.

I think those kits are a waste of money, they say they take all the time and research out of everything but thats the part i like. You could proly spend the same money on a dif setup and end up with alot more power and have the satisfaction of saying you put the time in and built your own ****. Tell us your goals and we can proly point you in a better direction.

I would spend the extra caah and go with a roller cam, also dont run anything but a performer RPM air-gap(nothing else compares). Check out the perfoemer RPM roller cam Edelbrock makes and try to pair it with a set of either RHS or Trick Flow heads. You can easily make 470-500fwhp with that setup, I ran something real similar and it kicked ***!

Without doing a 383 stroker, the 500 HP will probably not happen, but 450 is a thing to see.

I will give you my personal suggestion, spend the extra money on the roller equipment. Those Holley heads are OK, but that is it.

In the magazine world it happens But I think 450 is an extremely easy goal, I made 432whp with a 350. Thats gotta be close to 500fwhp Zane, but I had 11.5:1 cr and all of the nicest stuff.

You were using about 50 HP loss through the drive line so about 480ish. If it was a automatic 500 would be closer to the RWHP estimate. But you had allot into it, not just off the shelf parts, 500 HP at the FW with vortecs, not gonna happen.

^Agreed, that T-56 puts the power down nicely. And yeah you wont get near 500hp with vortecs unless they are worked over alot.
