305tpi issues
305tpi issues My buddy just bought an 88 rs 305tpi, well where having idle issues. Supposbly all the sensors are new. But its been acting up it wont stay running it'll just bog down, hesitates an stuff. He said recently it just revved up an wouldn't go down. I'm guessing its the throttle position sensor since my 93 did the same thing. But, we can't seem to retrieve codes from it, the engine light will just stay an not flash will i use my little key for obd-1. I also thought it was weird sense it had a mass air-flow sensor, but we couldn't find a map sensor or iat sensor? Were stumped and he's a good friend any help at all appreciated
My buddy bought a 90 IROC that did the same thing, he had the same issues, he replaced everything he could and it still was acting funny, i will give him a call and see what it ended up being.
