you can cut the coul all the way back to the fire wall and use a plexie glass for a windsheild and buy a vfn sunoco extended wide hood. and have tons of room

just got the guage panel done today just need to paint it here some pics





cut open the stock cluster and used it to make mine it came out great.

i also made one of those gauge panels, but i made mine with 6 gauges. Yours looks good, I love custom **** on these cars

JELLY 257....., i have just finnished with most of my swap! i did the same thing you did! i have a 454 .40 over to a 463BB mark IV done up with Patriot that has about 700HP! i love it and as i read thru your post it was funny to see you ran in to all of the same things i did! my question in what did you do about your steering linkage??? i cant figure it out and i dont want to pull off my hooker 2455 and cut and weld the tubes! some guys said that what you have to do.... but there gotta be another way to get some sort of linkage to work! what did you do??? i know its an old post but i hope you can help me out! thanks for your time! and i got a bunch of pics if your interested to see!

thread ressurection, anyone heard or seen of a caddy 472/500 stuffed in a fbody? seems like it may be a little easier with the distributor up front, and being a little shorter lenghtwise then a bbc

Idk about that but I'm in the process of a BBC swap in a 94 a long ways to go still but if I don't go megasquirt (efi/coils) I was thinking of a jessel front drive distributor

in the caddy the distributor is up front so its a bonus and has a really low profile intake, stock anyway, top of carb is level with valve covers. motor mounts are up front. im thinking it could be done. i would just run a carb. headers would be the major bitch of this deal.
