Default I need help choosing a cam for my tow truck

Its just a stock 350, It will have GMPP vortec heads so I'm limited to .475 lift. I'm just trying to make a little more tq and hp to haul my 7300 lb tow truck around. The stock 350 does ok but I need more

.

Most of the cam companies actually have a tow truck, RV cam, at least they did in my day.
Call the companies you like and let the experts do what they know.
Compare their models and pick one. I would never pick a cam from some yahoo's on the computer.

I agree, the RV cams are the place you should be looking. Anything else won't make power in an RPM range useful in a towing application. You need power from just off idle up to about 4000 RPM max, and maybe not that high.

I used a 214/224 with 114 LSA in my older dually with everything else stock. I have been very happy with it. Great low end and mid speed torque.
