Default 75 pontiac 400

i just bought a 75 pontiac 400 with 6x heads. i was told to up the compression and a lot more power that i needed to change the heads. does anyone know which heads i should switch to?

Pontiac's had a lot of different heads that you can use. I don't know which ones would be the best as far as stock goes. I would look into some Edelbrocks if the budget allows.

With the 6X heads there is power to be had, they will work fine as far as a budget by any means, more cam and compression and you have a torque monster and some decent mid range power. They are not high end screamers till you move allot of air but to 5500 RPM the 400 will roll out.
