'89 truck engines Some sources indicate 1989 K series pickups all came with the V-6 or the 8cyl Diesel. Other sources reference a 350 gas motor; Which is correct? and if the 350 was offered was it a Vortec

They came with 350's and 305's as well as 4.3 v6 engines that were all gasoline powered engines. No they were not vortecs. 350 vortec engines were produced from 96 through 2000 or 2002.
K trucks were 4 wheel drive and C trucks are 2 wheel drive. That doesn't reference to the engine.
