i did the 421sbc swap in my 90 coupe using aje k member, tubular lower control arms, qa1 front coilovers, c/c plates & kooks headers, running a powerglide. fit perfect no problems other than the 3 1/2 header collectors are tight to the trans so you will need to run a good fluid cooler.

Well I have heat shields and heat wraps and will most likely use a 3" collector, what is the best headers to use? are the hugger headers your best option that fit close to the engine/trans? I want to get a set of long tubes and x pipe the exhaust with 3" pipe all the way back

i have kooks headers, fit great other than close to the trans pan, i see the dyna tech headers use a smaller collector, so i would check them out(cheaper also $$$)

Well I can get hugger headers for around $250! Problem is knowing if they will be right or not lol but I have several headers to choose from.
