Default '89 RS w/ a 305

My friend has an '89 Camaro RS, he's trying to figure out what's wrong with it and I don't have the slightest idea. Here's what he's said:

"Its been tuned up , new plugs , wires , distributor cap , rotor button , fuel filter.. the firing order is correct , the ignition module is fine ... timming is right where it needs to be.. any ideas on why it will turn over and no crank.."

"its getting gas and sparks .."

"it just sits there and turns over till the batt dies"

What can I suggest to him?

An engine is an air pump.... There are 3 main requirements.....

Air-as long as nothing is stuck in the tb u have air.

FUEL-Check fuel pressure... I believe on the third gens.... U check them at the fuel filter.....

If u have air.... And u have fuel..... Spark is what u need.
For the sake of liability im not going to risk telling u how i check spark.... So google it.

My guess is if the car was running prior to tge tune up.... His issue will be distributor related...
