Default 1980 sbc 350 engine ''ticking'' noise

hi i have a 1978 chevy van with a 1980 350 van motor in it, just pulled out the power steering pump cuz it made this awful noise, so when i restarted the engine without the pump to confirm, the noise was gone but it was camouflaging this ticking sound, witch seems to come from the rear of the engine.
im praying its not valvetrain related, maybe an exhaust manifold gasket leak?
excuse my french naration lol, wass telling my budy to watch his eyes cuz i used the rad fan to blow all the plastic bits the dremil had made from the freshly cut/installed dash kit
The van is stored 1hour drive away from my hosue so i dont have access to it everyday, i plan on chekeing for exhaust leaks next time.

here is how the pump sounded
