Decent Street car .. 383 stroker set up.. HELP... hi im looking to buy a car and motor with a 350 ... i wanna stroke it out to a 383 and my goal is at least over 350 to the wheels.. i got 7 grand to buy a car and to buy the parts.. im doing the build myself also with a couple friends..
Id like to know a good base car to start with .. also a good kit..
also the cost of everything ..
Im a early 80s - late 90s muscle car fan.. so those are the kinda cars i wanna look at for a starting base..

I bought a 96 z for 2k a few years ago and built a 383 sbc with carb to throw in it. Makes more power than your stated goals and i believe i did it for less than 7k. If u have any questions, id be glad to help. I recently put holley efi on it, and im in the process of trying to figure that out. Im starting to miss the carb though.
