95 camaro z28 8.1 swap for $3500 (car included) anyone give a shit?

I ran 3rd gear all the out on my 2017 camaro and hit 7500rpm. I ended up floating a valve and bending a pushrod. Very odd but a new head with valves was $328 from chevy. Took about 3 1/2 hours in the garage.

They may both work. I just swapped them to trouble shoot the engine not running well, which may have been a combination of the cam sensor being wired backwards and the exhaust valve spring on cylinder 8 being broken. The throttle bodies are a bit different, I can send a pic of them side by side.

So I’m still figuring this out. Lt1 mounts work on a sbc or bbc. Issue is that only two of the bolt holes line up with the engine on both sides (not 3). I also had to cut spacers to add beneath both frame side mounts, to lift the engine off the rack, as well as clearancing the oil pan. Issue would then be T hat when the engine torques (with rubber clamshells) it will likely still strike the rack. I actually ordered some moroso solid mounts for an lt1, today so I won’t have that issue.
As for your application, I know companies make a solid and poly engine mount setup for sbc and bbc for use on an ls1 k member. That’s def your best bet. The lack of options for a 93-97 crossmember makes it a little more challenging to find a good solution.

Just paid $1400 tax included for an 8.1 out of a 2001 Silverado 3500 with 59,000 miles on it. It’s from a local junkyard that I’ve bought stuff from in the past. Supposed to be out of the truck and ready to pick up mid next week.
