After installing the passenger side moroso solid mount (made for an lt1) I realized that the drivers side was way off. When I originally used the stock rubber mounts the rubber was really twisted inside the clamshell so the mounts worked, but not properly The oil pan was also sitting on the rack. I ended up cutting the drivers mount apart, lined the engine up to where it was level and sitting square in the engine bay, then tacked the mount back together. I removed the mount and fully welded it, also adding a couple of gussets. With the setup now, the oil pan clears the rack with about a quarter inch to spare.

8.1 was idling okay for a bit but wouldn’t rev up well and would surge. I threw a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and found that it was only getting 20 psi. Amazed it even ran. So I ended up ordering a walbro 450 and install kit off of Amazon for like $150. I was planning on dropping the tank this morning but figured I’d check the trunk first. Good thing I did because there was already a hole cut in the trunk floor, with no patch panel. Changed the pump up, and it runs great, Idling around 58 psi. Now I have to make a removable panel for the fuel pump access.

Do you have any pick and pulls around you that have F-bodies? I went to one and cut the floor out of another '98 Firebird to make a perfectly contoured patch panel: https://ls1tech.com/forums/fueling-i...l#post20543057

Almost there finally. Couple issues are still have some air in the front brakes, I might have a loose fitting somewhere. Power steering isn’t working so the Amazon pump might have been junk from the get go. I cracked fittings, popped the cap and turned the wheel lock to lock on stands without luck. I took it down the street regardless and started VE tunning. Oh yeah also finished the intake. I spool gun welded it because I’ve never tigged. It’s good enough for me.
