Hi guys, nice rides! 17 and u already have three comaros, I like it!!!!
Guys is this a good thread to place general posts about my car or just a list of SBC OR BBC cars dont want to blow the thread out with geaneral stuff!
But i have a question to anyone who has a SBC. As stated my car runs a SBC it is along way back and the distributor is quite hard to access as it sits under my cut back winshield trim.
I want to replace my dizzy with a msd unit but dont know if i can do it without dropping the motor.
So i guess my question is, can someone please measure the height that you need to obtain to lift and unspline a 68 points style dizzy from the block. Must be points for accurate measurement, without the dizzy cap for more height?
MOTOR ON A STAND WOULD BE EASIEST.
Meanwhile I have just completed relocating the battery to the spare wheel well. Used the BMR kit. It is perfect, easy to install and fits like a glove with everything that you need supplied.
Will post picks of the kit soon. Thanks guys cheers ben.

But here is my baby, 92 camaro Z28 with a 358" sbc estimated at 400hp to the crank, definantly more then stock. Future plans include turbo, and all the other goodies to make it reliable and fast

I am running some reworked GM Iron heads. I will get a pick of the engine bay when I get the motor back from the machine shop. Right now I am changing over from solid motor mounts too motor plates. I will get some picks of that in case anyone is interested. I am trying to keep the car streetable, but still be able to out run people in "street class" at the track. I am also in the middle of making a custom trans crossmember that will allow me to use the stock torque arm, while giving me adjustability.
