Default My Camaro

Trying to get my car up and running. Got a 427 Dart Block SBC with 101 mm turbo. Going Deadenbear power glide and have a Chris Alston Chassis works four link. Working on getting the cage up to 25.5 spec. Now if I only had the engine back I could piece her back together.

My project is a 69 Camaro with a 454 and turbo 400. I just took out my 2.73 10 bolt and installed a 3.55 12 bolt. Yes it's a 454, but it's a 73 truck motor from what I can tell. But the engine will be very powerful soon enough. Check out the cardomain site for some hot unupdated pics of the Red Dragon.

current project is my first car-3rd-gen Car currently has a richmond 6speed,currie 9" rear, 350- lunati roller, brodix track 1 heads with matching intake,blah,blah,blah,etc.,etc.,etc. The car has gone low 11's on spray but my 02 has run the same times all engine so it's time for some changes. I have a lot of new parts that I have been buying over a period of time. It's a 383 stroker, steel 400 crank,6"rods,dished JE blower pistons, roller block with one peice real seal. Hoping to either go with a procharger set up or a turbo set up. I have a strong bottom end thats begging for forced induction. The thing that sucks is that my 4th gen is capable of going high 9's if I gut the car for weight and hit a 150 shot. Not sure if my stroker is going to be able to keep up with the high tech LS1. I have over 5K in brand new parts, wish I could sell it all and build a 7.0 L LS6. It seems to take a lot to keep up with the high tech LS1, I love my 02 but my 3rd gen is suppose to be the quickest car in my garage.

My current project is actually 2 cars. Both 1980 Z28. I am just getting ready to start parts cleanup and assembly on a 383 stroker for one of my cars. The 383 will have a complete Eagle rotating with the sir rod and KB piston dished. I decided to keep it mild so I can drive it whenever. It will have a ProComp cylinder head with 202 160, comp springs and Ferrea valves. Comp Pro Magnum roller rockers. Comp Cam XE274 flat tappet. 9.6:1. SOmeone on another site said that you need a raised runner intake for these heads, I dont know this to be true. If not I will use a Weiand Stealth intake with a Holley 750 Vac sec. Mallory ignition. THe car already has a built th350 with a 2600 stall converter and the brand new 373 and eaton posi. I eventually plan to change that to a TKO 500. SShould move out ok. I am shooting for a mid to low 12 with good traction. We'll see.
My other motor is a 413 small block. It has a 3.80 stroke crank. Eagle 4340 forged non twist lightened crank, Lunati pro mod rod, Lunati Nos piston domed. 13.2:1. Dart 220 head with 2.055 and 1.60 Manley severe duty valves. Comp stud girdle. Cam is big solid roller. 270-266@.050 and 600-606 inch lift. Eddy Super Vic with dominator flange. This should one day make it into the other car. I have been thinking about getting rid of it to do an LS motor though.

It's not a GTO, Camaro, Firebird, or Vette, but she's paid for and she's my baby....

85 Chevy Impala. It has a GM 350 and a THM700 R-4. Daily driver, but I'm planning for more power. I'm going to keep it carburated. Plan is a 350 or 383 swap (thinking of Edlebrock Crate), a 4L60E swap, and a positractoin rear end. Not sure what gears I should use, but I'm interested in any suggestions or ideas anyone has. It is and will continue to be a daily driver and it must pass emmissions, so the emmissions equipment must stay intact (AIR System, Cat, and PCV). All motor at first. Either SC or Nitrous later. Building a sneaky stealth fighter.

Plan so far:
SBC engine not sure on the size yet since I need the machine work done. I will probaly start off with a high compression motor. Run mid to low 12s. Blow it up and then go low with a turbo setup.

There are a few cars im looking at buying for it right now. '62 Nova drag car roller only or there are plenty of late 70s early 80s Malibus/Nova's around, for cheap.

Thats the plan so far but it will probaly change. If I can find a decent Turn key I might buy that one.

'70 Chevelle with a ZZ502 with full roller setup (not roller tips), LT's with 3" out, B&M TH400 with trans brake, stall (2400 or 3000, not sure yet), Mosier 12 bolt with spool and 4.11's. I don't have the specs on everything yet that's in the car. I'm looking at an 871 to go on top but figure I'll have to yank the 9.6's and put in JE 8:1's instead. No cage or tubs work done to the car yet.

Well I am taking ownership of a 99 Z28 in a few weeks, minus motor/tranny, and have decided to build a 572 BBC for it. I have yet to decide to go carb, or convert the manifold to EFI. Outlaw, I love the cage in your car, I am going to see if I can get that kind of cage installed after I get it. I also have a 96 Z28, but I am most likely going to sell it, and put a 350/700r4 in my 87 s-10.

well im sure that this isnt anywhere near as impressive as some of the other projects that are going on on here, but heres my SBC project anyway.

1974 Chevy Police interceptor engine (only the block is gonna be left original)

internals: Trw Forged pistons Domed .100, forged connecting rods, Chromoly Piston rings, stock crank

valve train: right now im not too sure on teh specs of the cam all i know is thats it s a 230 duration. the heads right now are the stock 74 emmissions heads, with new valves and stamped rockers.

what will be going into this engine

Set of ported Aluminum L98 Corvette heads. port matched to a victor jr intake. hardened pushrods, 1.6 crane gold roller rockers, a new cam and lifter set. im not sure what size yet. im lookin for advice on this. an Eagle Crank. and MSD HEI distributer and 6al box. thats about it. i want 350 RWHP from this engine and i think that definatly acheivable.
