I tore down a Steve Schmidt Pro-Stock motor at work a couple of weeks back. It was the most beautifull motor I've ever seen. Everything was perfect. You'll be happy with anything from SSR.

hey man........

not too bad a price, but it doesn't give the comp. ratio. if you're interested in a motor like this with all the big name parts, cost $18,000, is a BBC, and runs on PUMP GAS too, check out the unbelievable 588" BBC built by Fast Times Motorworks that makes 950hp on true pump gas!!! plus will take a decent shot of N20 on top of that. that's the motor i was originally going to go with til i found a 427 sbc built by them at a price i couldn't pass up. if you give them a call, you'll likely talk to Graham....excellent guy to deal with, very patient with my hundreds of questions. they're responsible for some very fast cars. here's a link.......... http://www.fasttimesmotorworks.com/F...mengcmbos1.htm scroll down to the 588 for details. let me know what you think.

later,
Dave
