I think so.

Fully ported/polished, cut for large valve springs, machined for 7/16 screw-in studs, decked to 58cc large port/Dport
come off of a vega that ran 5.60s in the 1/8th

with manley stainless steel valves, and comp cams 986-16 springs
all for $500
what do you think?

good deal? Hell, that is a GREAT deal. Here in Iowa, people are getting between 500 and 800 for a set that needs rebuilt. Those are a very good flowing head, and will make power very easily. Nice set man, and GREAT price

Sounds good and they probably look nice. a 986-16 spring is a decent spring. Can be used for flat tappet hyd. cams or Hyd. Roller cams. Max lift. is .560 i believe.
