Default need help with my street stock motor

i currently have a 400 destroked to a 377 with 13.1 compression and about 500 horsepower at 8200rpm and around 480 torque at 7600rpm. imca is outlawing all 400 blocks in the next couple of years so im looking for the same hp and tq except with a destroked 350. is this possible?. if so i would like some help with all the calculations if i use a 327 crank. looking for a high rpm race setup. i would need suggestions with the bore width, stroke length, deck height. i can have my 350 4 bolt main block machined to any specs. Will it be possible to use my ported to the max camel hump heads from my 377 on this?

what i think your best bet is either a built high winding 355 which can easily be done, or an sb2 style motor.

If it helps any, you can get a 377 out of a 350 block with a stroker crank I believe. I know for a fact cuz I have a 377. Not sure if that's the route you still want or not but just my two cents.

im just looking for a motor that can rev to the moon and makes power there as well. looking for around 500 hp and tq. this is going to be used on a 1/5 mile oval track in an 82 monte carlo street stock. and imca is outlawing the use of all 400 blocks. i would like a destroked motor with a very very short stroke because that makes high rpm engins last longer. any suggestions would be appreciated. i already have a 350 4 bolt main from before i switched to the 377 so i would just like to destroke that. any suggestions on rod length, crank i should use, rings, etc....

Chevy 302, 327, 350 use the same 4" bore so putting in a 327 crank would make it a 327
are they outlawing just the 400 block or the bore size of the 400 block. you might be able to have your 350 block sleeved to the 400 bore size then you can still have your 377
you could build a 302 . thats what Chevy did to run the Trans Am in 67-69. they pull to 8500 from the factory but they dont have the tq your looking for
