Default what happens when you overheat

I think I ran my coolant too high. 260 or so. Engine seems to run fine still. and no noises. Could anything been hurt by running it hot, other then it making no power. BTW its a 305 TPI

I know a warped head happens once to someone. Valves are another concern. Hopefully someone can chime in.

305s have thin cylinder walls which does not help. 260 is hot but did it spit out the coolant? The worst would be a cracked block, head, or blown head gasket. Keep an eye for coolant or oil that looks polluted.

I havent noticed any coolant or oil coming out the tailpipe.
Oil still looks new even though its almost a year old now.

It should be fine. My dad had one of those and ran it into the red a few times with no problems.

this sounds like you need a large bottle of laxitives!! seek medical attention immediately.

IF: heavy sweating, muscel weakness, dizzyness, exhaustion, or passing out occurs, you should remove or loosen your clothes. get under that shade tree and fan or move yourself to an air-cooled room. take some cold fluid sips and remember to stay calm!
