Default Horsepower estimate on a 468

Hey guys I am really new to GenI chevy engines/carbeureted engines but I am contemplating on buying a 3rd gen with a BBC. Here is the email from seller with motor specs.

The engine block is a
1973 454 bored .o60 over, .285 dome probe forged pistons, Eagle SIR rods,
comp XE274 hydralic cam, the heads are 781 oval port ( which are known to
produce lots of tourqe) 2.19/1.88 Milodan s/s valves, crane rockers. It has
a cast crank .010 on the mains, .020 on the rods, clevite bearings, childs
and albert rings with .005 clearance on camp.rings. It has a CSI mini
starter, MSD probillet dist., MSD 6AL, MSD blaster2 coil, MSD 8.5 mm
helicoil plug wires, March aluminum brackets, underdriven pulleys. 4''
harwood lift of hood.
Any estimates? Appreciate any help

Well, I'll throw in a pennys worth of thoughts. You left out a couple things such as intake, carb, and headers which are pretty important when taking a guess. But, with a dualplane intake like a Edelbrock RPM, open headers, and a 750-850 carb. I'd throw my money down somewhere around 500hp, and maybe 525-550 ft.lbs. Granted thats assuming alot.

big block torque and street tires don't go together well.

i'll say it would probably run 7.20s or 7.30s on slicks so i'll say 475 hp/525-550 hp.i have a 406 ci sbc 3rd gen that ran 7.20s @96-97 mph on pump gas before the rebuild, now has a bigger cam and should run 7.0s @ around 100 i'll sell ya.not the prettiest and with no power steering but fun to raise cain in.
