Engine will not stay running --- NEED HELP Just recently installed a new sbc 350 in my 67 camaro. The car will start up but it will not stay running. As soon as you let your foot of the gas the motor will shut off. Seems like it will not idle at all. We adjusted the rockers - 2 times and tried to adjust the carb's idle. Seems that was not the problem. Does anyone know what the problem could be???? Or if theres any more adjustments on the carb that I need to make??

Sounds like a big Vac. leak
check all hoses and fittings, and make sure you have the right carb base gasket
what carb, intake are you using
also check your timming like Dad said, it should be around 32-36 deg. total
