Default Head selection on SBC 355

I'm building a mild 355ci motor for my third gen and can't decide on which heads to get. I've got an eye on the vortec heads as several people have told me they flow well and make great power. I'm really wanting aluminum though. I found some RHS 200cc heads for a low price but have never heard of them. I'm running Flat top Speed Pro forged pistons on a 30 over 350, crane cam, double roller timing set, weiand single plane intake with a Holley 4150. My goal is around 450 hp at the crank with 10.5:1 compression. Any recommendations on heads? Thanks

AFR 195cc Eliminators here. Huge difference over stock when I bolted them on. The 1400 price is a bit much though.

Your head selection is going to be decided by your budget. How far you wanna reach into your pockets??

The RHS Pro Action heads are the same as the old Pro Toplines. Comp Cams bought Pro Topline out and resurected the RHS name plate from years ago. They are very good quality and are a coin flip between them and the Dart Iron Eagle Platinum heads for who makes more HP. I know this from selling both types of heads and compairing the flow numbers of both for the better head. I have sold and ported both types for the local circle track cars and one doesn't seam to have an advantage over the other.

I'd like to stay under $1500.00 for a good set of heads, I figured with the kit I'm buying from Northern Auto Parts which comes with a Crane cam and lifter set, Speed Pro flat top pistons and everything else I need for under $250.00 I could spend a little more on the top end. So the RHS heads are good flowing heads for the money? They seem to be " Cheap " in price but the numbers sound good. Also what's ya'lls opinion on running a single plane intake rather than a dual plane? I'm wanting a power band similar to an LS1, meaning good low end torque but pulls harder and harder all the way to redline. Thanks for the help!

I haven't picked out my cam yet, the kit I'm buying from Northern comes with a Crane Energizer cam and lifter kit but I haven't decided which cam to run. After shopping around today I've about decided to get the Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads and the Edelbrock Air Gap intake. Now I need to pick a cam to match this combo.
