decided on Vizard 350sbc budget build
decided to try and do one of Vizards 350sbc budget build, Lmk what you guys think and I should substitute any parts with betters ones.
4bolt 350 bored .030 over
Forged Ross flat top pistons
forged stock size crank
5.7 crower rods
crane dual pattern cam p#113801
isky aluminum 1.6 intake, 1.5 exhast
041s heads
vic jr with nitrous plate
820 cfm holley
HEI with MSD module 20deg with n2o and 32deg without nitrous
1/34 headers with 18'' collector extensions
with this he states he made about
450Hp/400tq off the gas
775hp on the gas

I believe you'd be able to use a short fill of block rock to stiffen up that stock 350 block. If it's done right, you should be able to run it on the street. If it were me, I'd find a 2 bolt, and use splayed caps on it.
I'd maybe run a different cam. It's fairly small (although it's making BB power)...hmm, maybe I'd leave it alone. Can't beat a proven combo.
With 775hp on spray, you hope to be lower than 11's, right??? I know it's goin in a pickem up, but still....

and I thought the same when I posted this thread up why mess with a proven combo thats been proven by a great engine builder. right??
