my friend and i managed to blow the 305 in his 83 firebird...run it out of gas and fill the tank with a few bottles of rubbing alcohol. it ran ok on the alcohol but within the week it was done

I would add a small amount of acid and some metal shavings in the oil...will be gone in a few days...he will just notice small sounds coming out of no where getting worse and worse and the oil wont smell that bad. When you guys pull the motor on it it will smell a little burnt with shavings everywhere and that is something that could happen naturally. or just throw some shavings or a random nut/washer down the intake.

This thread is great, good luck, i had a 91 caprice with 210,000 miles on the clock. My parents gave me the car and i drove the crap out of it hit the governer often(128), always doing burnouts and it never phased it, sold it and still see it every now and then. so keep us updated it will definatly take tampering because it will take forever to tire out

We got a bag of sandblasting sand and hooked up into the intake and started the car. We had to hold the gas so it would run. He wanted to let the engine suck in the sand through the intake so it would port it out and then push it out the ehxaust so it would port the exhaust manifold.
I was worried that it might cause problems but he figured it'd be OK as long as we didn't make boost and it get sucked in the turbo. After running the car and letting it suck in sand we got about half way through a 25 lb bag. The check engine light was on and the engine was bucking and kicking and sounding really weird. We stopped and hooked the car back up normal and took off the sand supply. We tried to start it again and it was really hard. Once started it couldn't idle and kept making weird noises. We took it out and drove it and it started to make scraping and knocking noises.
Help! Can anyone tell me what to do! My buddy only does Hondas so he doesn't know much about Audis.

There was a kid in pa i knew had a firebird with a 305 and they wanted to blow it up so they put a 400 shot on it lol and everytime they hit the nitrous it would blow the stock muffler rite off and take off. It never blew up suprisingly just blew the muffler off everytime.
