volunteer to help...if the engine in it is in good running condition, after it is pulled, you can sell it to someone that needs it or put it away incase your friend needs to put it back in...

Exactly, or prep everything to make it easy on the guy. Pull plugs, hoses, wires ect. Label everything & make it painless for him & I'm sure he will get it done.

If it's all stripped down & ready to pull, he's not going to drive it very far. You said he drives it everyday. Not with no radiator, oil, distributor ect ect.

Tried this on my old 327 all i did was burn up the rings, so it lost compression slowly...however it kept strong after about 4 months until i got sick of losing to c5 vettes.
nitrous wont hurt and engine with worn rings, all that extra pressure will just turn into blow by, you might get lucky and crack a cast piston.

get going down the street in third gear then put in in reverse!!! it will take alot of forcing but it can be done wait thats the tranny huh dang, just let some oil dissapear then see how long you can bounce it off the rev limiter for.

lol yeah i wish i had a nitrous kit i would do a open hose to the throttle body. but our prob is we cant kill it our selfs it would look bad if it was running good and then we took it for a ride and it just happened to blow up. i thought about taking the oil out but his dad would notice it...i think we might just loosen the oil drain plug.

Drain the oil out and put water in the crankcase, I know this works, it won't run as long as just draining the oil.
Or to be less obvious just empty out a good battery and pour the acid in the crankcase, this works real well, it'll sit in the pan for days, the engine will start and run fine for a long time, but as soon as it's shut off that acid had circulated and it will have a chance to sit on the bearings, etc. When it's started back up it's done.

I hate to see people destroying engines just to get another, even though I did pretty much the same thing to the tranny in our Tahoe so I could get it.
But if you have everything unhooked and labeled.. how hard could it be just to do the swap yourself.... plus I'm sure if you got started and he saw that ya'll were trying he'd probably wanna jump in and help so you'd get it done even quicker.

good luck killin that 305 lol, my sister went 2 years without changin the oil in her monte carlo and when i changed it, the oil came out in chunks and the filter had no trace of its element inside of it. it ran like crap afterwords but it ran till she wrecked it. she tried to blame me for it running like that then her boyfriend told me she hadnt changed the oil in 2 years so i told her to go **** herself when it came to fixing it. i coulda swapped the motor out for a new one and had it running in less then 2 hours but im not gonna do all that when i know shes just gonna tear it up again. she now has my old 82 delta88 with a 307, that motor is a trooper, 200k miles, been run so hot that it just shut down like 5 times, some friend of hers took her air cleaner so it been running with out a air filter for about 20k miles she goes like 10k on oil changes and it still runs smooth as silk. if i had known it was gonna take all her abuse i woulda kept it for a workehorse myself
