I know what you run. You can find anything on youtube. My car has never been apart. I just switched out exhausts. I had a chambered muffler on there that wasn't working well. I had to switch to a bullet style and picked up 102 hp. Amazing what restrictions do to turbo cars.
I've made 2 passes at the track in the car. I'm VERY happy with the "off the trailer" pass. I went 153 mph and the car weighs 3840 with me in it....do the math. 60 was a 1.52 though. I'm not happy with it but Car hooks, trans brake is wonderful and I need a chute on the car now. that was at 24 lbs. I've got it up to 30 lbs now with the new mufflers too
Suspension needs some tweeking and i'm going to try another set of cams.

bobby, that's what I have on the Tahoe. Why you gotta give out my secrets bro? Don't tell them what brand homelites they are. I will tell you I used red "bedroom 1" tape from uhaul. Seemed to seal better.

If so you better be spraying on top of it or those numbers are either BS or G-tech numbers. The Y2K 80mm is only rated at 1200fwhp. And using your 3840lb weight you'd need 1000rwhp to run 153. So using your numbers you've somehow found a way to make maximum power out of a system running it at only a 2.7 pressure ratio, while the manufacturer had to go to 3.25 for maximum output. So unless you have found a way to surpass the laws of physics and run your engine at like 120% VE, which even if you had it'd still be quite a stretch, I call BS or say you have a boat load of nitrous on it.

Interesting math. So, how do you figure HUNTER ran 158 mph with smaller turbos and and less boost? Just look for him in the Southern section, and watch his video. Good friend of mine....no nitrous. It's because the engine also makes power without the turbos. Then, the turbos multiply that power. Hmmmmm interesting. Hunter made over 1000 rwhp with twin 76's I believe. I'll get him to post on here so you can see.
Also if you are implying that the stated HP numbers are the power multiplication numbers you are very much mistaken. A compressor can only flow so much air. That air combined with the equivalent amount of fuel is the maximum amount of power the engine can make. The only thing affecting it otherwise is the engines ability to flow air(aka VE) and its volumetric size(aka cubic inches).

Here is what his car is made up of:
thanks everyone, big day for me, biggest day since my 9 sec pass in 04
the popping was not me, i was using the trans brake and going off of rpm @ 4000ish maybe 6-7psi, it was 23 max on that run. i dialed more in for another pass but i never got to go out again. computer was shifting the trans for me around 6500rpm and went thru the traps about 6800
ls2 bait, lots of my specs on here but in short:
erl 6 bolt ls2 block conversion, all pro 6 bolt cathedral heads, ls6 intake and stock tb, stock crank, 364ci by wheel to wheel.
transformance 4l80e trans yank 3400 stall
midwest 9" rear 3.0 gear (for the 25.5" tires)
bogart bolted rr10's
qa1 single adjustable shocks around
bmr suspension trz anti-roll kit
snow methanol kit
big stuff 3 engine and trans control
twin walbro fuel pumps in stock tank, 96# injectors, kirban referenced regulator
turbosmart e-boost 2
turbo technology air to water RACE kit, self-upgraded to pte-88 turbo, also self upgraded in-car plastic 5 gallon water tank
lt1 radiator, stock water pump
performance auto fabrication sportsman cage
i think thats it!
i dont think i could run an 8 with the manual, its just soo hard with a clutch to get a heavy car moving in a hurry, im not interested in breaking stuff anymore!
the turbo is good for 1250 horse, i guess i am somewhere approaching that
nobody told me anything directly about my lack of a chute, but they did make sure i had a window net.
this is the bracket eric at midwest made for me since i insisted on running the bmr extreme tq arm.
Although this car uses a slightly larger turbo"by 8mm's" this guy's mph you are bashing because of his turbo size is very achievable! There is only 50hp difference in the turbo's as well! 8.73 at 159mph on the little 88mm turbo!
