Hey LR, Memphis TNT Thursday March 19!!!! Looks like Shane is going to take the beast and try out the new setup. I'll be taking my heap and shooting for some 11.5X's. Who else wants to go? We'll probably meet in Protho Junction at 3 PM and head over from there. Weather as of now looks decent, so should make for a great time!!

Shane planned for Thursday, so I'll be tagging along. I have to work that Saturday anyway. Hopefully it's not too busy on Thursday and we can get plenty of runs in. Hope to see you there George!
I "might" have a trailer lined up. Not that I need one, but it would sure make things easy to just prep the car here and tow it over. Now if I can just find a way to shed some weight

Well, Shane may not be able to make it after all. That blows.....but I'll probably still make it. There are a couple guys from work wanting to come out and watch the fun, so if they're still game, we'll be there. Also, my wife might finally get to tag along. We have a babysitter lined up, and she loves the races, so as of now I'm still planning on this.
Will Rene be there as well George? Nic will be riding over with me, so it promises to be a good time! We need some more folks though....

I ran very consistent last night. 11.6X's all night long. Best pass was 11.623, best short time was 1.57 and best MPH was 115.77. I'm happy...the car did great and those launches felt awesome!!
I have some videos, but I'll have to figure out how to post them. This is my first try at uploading videos. Great times!!
You're car really moves out!! I hear ya....my car was trying so hard to lift that front. I scrubbed the left front a couple times, but it just wouldn't show me that strip of light underneath it. Time for some skinnies

Ha, no.
At first I had to change my launch because I changed to 3.50 gears instead of 3.73s. So I figured out the car needs to launch higher. Then the transmission was shifting weird but it was an easy fix with HPTuners. THEN some moron in a Tacoma tried staging with his rear BUMPER, so I'm waiting at the line and get out "of the zone" an launch crappy but got a good mph.
FINALLY I get a great 60ft, shifting is perfect, and my bottle runs out and I get an 11.04....

Videos!! These are of the launch only. A full run is in my sig, but the idea here was to see how it was taking off. Sorry about the quality...it's pretty poor, but it's all I have to work with. They work better when not watched in full screen mode.
Oddly enough, my neck is extremely stiff and sore today. I think I might have slept wrong last night, but Nic was watching me race and thinks the combination of a heavy helmet and neck-snapping launches took their toll. Interesting....
