Yeah im with chris on waiting a few weeks. Next saturday is the 4th and i think the 11th is a outlaw race by then i should have the new monster sunoco hood on the car so i'll be ready to make a few passes down the strip.
From what i was told the other day a local ls1 racer made a trip to prescott this past weekend and throwed down a NA 60ft. of 1.48 and a 1.41 on the bottle. Prescott will own you if your not ready for it and i think some of you are skeered to come up and run with the big dogs. Maybe it's the fear of standing it up and ruining your underwear

I'm not saying set up our LS1tech races now, what I'm saying is for us to make a big showing for a bracket race and show the track we can get the cars there. When they see what we can bring to say the street class we can then talk with Sam about running some events. Let's just go with the tracks programs and stop with the racing on friday night, TnT on friday, race on saturday. We can trophy street race, what I'm saying is once the track sees the car count we could talk with Sam about a cash pay-out for street. Let the track run the way they want, but we have to show up as fans as well as racers.

I'm just saying they need to do some cheap bracket racing for the newer mostly street car crowd (that mostly only goes to the track on Friday nights) just so they can get their feet wet without spending $50 on a Sat night and be worried about making themselves look stupid. Personally, if there is a bracket race I will be there reguardless of what day it is. Hell I'd be there Friday and Sat if that would do it.

I'd definitely be there more often, if they would run a Friday night Trophy Street program. As long as I can run QTP's, and maybe open my cutouts!
Friday is my only real option, I just can't be gone all day Saturday.
It's a two hour pull for me, so I've got to have a program I want to run in, on a day I can run it.
I guess I'm hard to please.
I have fond memories of Hallsville, and lanes full of Trophy cars.
It did happen, I think.

what up chris (taws6m6). Its p2. Man im debating. Im trying to fit so many plans into one evening. Fishing on the river, hanging out at lake claiborne, or going to the track. Plus, nobody wants a lil 4.6 hanging out with some LS cars. LOL

Any of you look at the new schedule? I noticed 7-18 they are having a bracket bonanza but i see a small problem with it. They list NO-E as $40 to enter and Street Class is $40 to enter as well. If street class is only handing out a trophy then it will never work if it cost the same as NO-E with NO-E having a payout.
I think the 18th is when i will try to go down and race. I have been standing on the soap box about how much index racing sucks,so it would not seem right for me to run on the 11th for their index race and skip the 18th for the bracket program that im rooting for.
The only thing i like about the index night is that you can T&T for $20 but that defeats the purpose of supporting a bracket program. I think if we have a big showing on bracket bonaza they will see that index is not the way to go but i don't know for what reason have it they can't do both programs on the same night twice a month along with a outlaw event on weekend and the ricers meet another weekend (pointless in my opinion) but everybody has their trips on what they like.

Scott car is really look'n good, Chris did you find out what happened to Jerry's car on his last pass. It sure made a big pop just before the 1/4 mile and we did not see him again.
