Syko, from what I've been reading it seems you'll have to go to Memphis for a dyno and tune. I've heard good talk about Dynospeed although it seems it's more of a Mustang shop. Apparently they show us LSx guys some love too! Haha You still gotta come out to my place on if these days and meet my small crew.

Everyone in the Clarksville area should hook up sometime. Would be fun to get around some other f body guys.

I'm going to the speedway tomorrow for Test and Tune, and possibly Friday night. (all depending on weather and if I get out of work on time). I need to get some good launches in so I can adjust my clutch master cylinder.

We should go Friday. I went to Beech Bend in BG last weekend, I need some direction on launching mine. This was my first manual RWD car and first time at the track, my 60 and 1/4 are garbage but trap speed was alright so obviously it's the driver. I think I still have your number Carlisle, I dont have the pewter guy's one. I'll pm it though. Hopefully it doesn't rain!

I will probably go on Friday. I hope it doesn't rain either! I am sick of the rain.

I feel you on that, this is my first manual car that I actually race. My camaro is an auto, sooo much easier. My 'true duals' after I took a second look, is actually really restrictive. Sounds good, but if anything its rendered my headers useless. I think its actually hurt my ET's, when I went on Wednesday it I ran slower, and I had drag radials. Admittedly I need to work on my launch, an the radials were at 35ish PSI, when they should have been at about 18 or so. Still though, my 60ft times were a bit better than my old ones, yet I ran slower. If y'all do decided to go, let me know.
C.

Edit: I'm getting electric cutouts in October to solve the restriction issue though btw, but I still need to get my launch down.

I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime in the future even though I've got rid of my f body and ls1 rx7. Weather is perfect

I will prob go out to the track tonight.

My LT1 Firebird was a 6 speed and I loved that car. The previous owner ran a 13.3 in that car with a catback and nitto d.r.'s. It ran good. Yeah driving the auto is pretty easy. I am not sure if I like it or not yet. Once you get the tire pressure and the stall figured out, its cake.

This car likes to go off idle. I cut a 1.7 60ft from idle in my first run in the car on BFG drag radials with 42 psi in them. Tried to foot brake it at 2500 rpm and it spun 100 ft or so. I didn't let off either lol. So that didn't help.

Well let us know if you are ganna go, I'll most likely end up there seeing as I have nothing better to do. Most likely won't run, just hang out, watch, and bullshit.

Just noticed you sold the RX7. Never go to see it, bummer. You can come out anyway, you don't need a fast car judging by my times my car is far from it haha. We'll be up there tonight so if you're up there, don't be a stranger.

My bad guys, I laid down to get some rest around 9, fully dressed, and fell asleep and slept right through my alarm I had set. Woke up at about 1am cussing up a storm haha.

Yeah we were wondering where you were! We stayed for about an hour or so and left. Not a bad little 1/8 mile strip! Especially for the cost to enter and run! Less than half the cost of my local strip Mason Dixon.
