I'm from Chattanooga and went to UTC. I still go to all the home games too, even though I now live 100 north in Knoxville. What part of town are you staying in?
www.streetcarforums.com has a very active chattanooga/cleveland/dalton section.
Nice choice on the convertible!

I'm up the road in Maryville but no get togethers that I know of. I hit up the Grand Rod Run in Pigeon Forge every Spring & Fall tho. It starts Sept. 16th & lasts for four days if you're interested.

What's in Dunlap for you to move there for business? I worked at Tecumseh, but the plant closed a few years back.
Also, why is your SN ragtop if you got a hardtop?

Dunlap? You're kidding! I used to work in Dunlap. It's a very small town, but very pretty with all the mountains. I suggest taking 127N, it's a nice drive.

My parents condo is the property right next to where that was. They still have go-carts....haha.
I rode that a LONG time ago.....late 80s probably.
I see you're from ATL. I was in north west ATL 4 weekends ago in a new part called 'Seven Hills' near Acworth. You know where that is? My friends neighborhood has a damn water park in it...it's awesome!

Acworth is about an hour north of me. I don't go up there too often. lol
Yea the Alpine slide has been long gone. I'll never forget going up there as a kid riding up the ski lifts all the way to the top of the mountain, and hauling *** down that slide on those carts. I flew off the track a couple of times, one time launching myself about 20 ft away in a bunch of kudzu. I heard they took the slide down because people were flying off and getting seriously hurt/killed. Bummer.
