yeah I tried to call Lane today but no answer: 256-882-2450... that is the correct number, right? lol
and I'd really like to get this car tuned this Saturday... I want to hit the track that night, because College football starts NEXT Saturday and well, lets be honest... i'm kind of busy on Saturdays, lol

2ssrsinbama do you still have the exhaust you pulled off yours? My brother bought a 2010 and I was wondering if you wanna sell it and he can use it until he can do a ful length with headers?

I do... I'm going to fix some welds on it that Florence Muffler ROYALLY f'd up(i'd be embarrassed to sell it as is, lol) but then yeah... say $150? it will come with an x-pipe, the catback and tips... its is a mufflerless setup, but its not obnoxiously loud and I think sounded pretty good..
as far as how shitty the welds are, Shannon can back me on that, he took it off, lol... I don't know how the guy at Florence muffler has been in business as long as he is... I know Johnny's in Rogersville is a good exhaust shop(and now Shannon that he has his up and running) but Johnny's was closed on a Saturday and I was anxious to get it on... I took a chance and honestly didn't think it was as bad as it was.... until Shannon pulled it off, lol... but we have a mig welder here and I will get it right before I put it up for sale...
also some guys on HSVracing pointed me to a guy named Chevy408 on there(clyde), everyone backed him on his ability to tune a LS engine... so i'm meeting him in Huntsville tomorrow night... once I get the LS3 intake ported, it'll need to be tuned again and then i'll make a trip to Lane... but for now, I'm just wanting it not as rich as it is, and multiple people has said he's a pretty knowledgeable guy

yeah, I got him to line my tips up with the rear fascia on this car... I didn't like how they set out of the box with the Doug Thorley full exhaust... he only charged me $20 and his welds were perfect...
its just hard to get an appointment with him quickly, it was a week out for that small job

2SSRSinBama, I can vouch for Chevy 408 ( Clyde ) he is a stand up guy. I have known him for about 10 years. I know that he tunes Vettes alot cause he has one and it is bad ***. When you talk to him, tell him Eric said hello. He also is building a twin turbo Nova, check out his thread on here, first class.

yeah I've got to meet up with him Sunday to get the car tuned... I met up with him yesterday and was told my ECM was unlocked by my previous tuner.....it wasn't... and I didn't bring my flash cable or stock tune files... so I couldn't unlock it, lol... but he was able to log my car and said I had a lot to be gained...
so now we're going to do it again Sunday... i'm going to wait and flash it back stock when I meet up with him because the software I use allows me to choose if I want to set the engine back to stock or the transmission... I LOVE my transmission tune right now so we're going to attempt to just set my engine tune back to stock and hopefully it'll unlock the ECM without removing my transmission tune... and if that doesn't work, we'll go from there... though I hope that isn't the case because he told me do doesn't know a whole lot about tuning the automatic transmissions and that is a big gainer on these cars... so at that point, I might just tell him to hold off until I could get with someone who can work magic on the 6L80e while giving me a good engine tune... so i'm really hoping just setting the engine back to stock will unlock it...
