yeah my dad and I went... was some pretty good racing all night, kind of disappointing in the 7.0 class as it had been the most competitive all night and a couple of the cars that were really dialed in red lighted... and the fact the fastest 10.5 car stood it up in the 1st round(or was it the 2nd?) and went home early, would have been a showdown between him and the other foxbody had he not had that bad run, he'd been running 5.000 all night

I am not a Mustang fan by no means. But I do have to admit that there were some bad *** turbo stangs there. I was hoping to see more LS cars though. Maybe nest time. Boy the boys in blue were out like hell. There was not a single way out of there without going through a road block.

yeah, that is because Lawrence County is dry, that was to be expected after a big race... and there were some bad *** mustangs, but with all the mustangs there, they won only one class... lol
and people can say what they want, yeah he may have got beat, but the fact a 3400lb race weight V6 turbo buick put his car in the 10.5 class and was honestly probably the 4th or 5th fastest car in the class, that was the most impressive car on the night
the fact that he would DRIVE his car back to the pits and not be pulled back by an ATV, once again, that is impressive

...and I still love the 10.5" class the most, I mean running in the 3s with Promods and ****, yeah, that's fast... but I'd still rather watch the 10.5 guys run mid/low 4s... especially considering most of them run full bodied cars that once rolled off the assembly line
