Given the weight difference between the two rearends, I would go out on a limb and say it might have even slowed you down a bit possibly?? Launching on the 150 shot or hitting it a few seconds out?

Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I have scheduled ( CHEVY 406 Clyde ) for the ones that already know him to come down Saturday September 21 to tune some. If you are interested please let me know and I will get you on the list. As for the price it usually runs between $ 150.00 and $ 175.00 it all depends on the mods that are on your car. That will be between you and him. We need to get as many as we can to make it worth his time to come down here and help us out. Please let me know as soon as you can if you are interested. You can P.M. him to discuss price and what exactly you want done. I just need to know who all is interested in his services.
Thanks,
Eric

However I just returned home 3 1/2 hours after leaving & I would like to take a few minutes and reflect on the experience.
1. The racing- There were a lot of BAD *** cars there. Eveything from a LS powered Covair Station Wagon to ( 2 ) jet propelled rails which might I add ( 1 ) of them went 247 and some change.
2. Car Show- It was pretty cool as well alot of neat and nice cars with LS swaps.
3. Road Course Racing-That was cool as well, this was my first time ever seeing any.
4. Drift Challange- The guys that compete in that are some hell of a good drivers, if I must say.
5. Dyno Pulls- I witnessed a 66 or 67 Chevelle appear to granade ( Hope he had a trailer ).
6.Vendor Midway & Swap Meet- I was disappointed in them. The vendor midway, I was expecting the guys there to have a lot of parts for sale, there wasn't. However a couple of them offered free shipping If you mention that you seem there there. I guess I'll have to try that. But I was looking to pick up a few items and I wasnt able too. There were maybe 5-10 people at the swap meet.
All in all though I had a wonderful time and look forward to returning next year.
Maybe more of the Local guys can make plans to go!!! ( You got a year to plan and get ready ).

I'm still here and having a blast even though I'm sweating my *** off. Sounds like you made a good pass though most of the events. I've hung around the show-n-shine and my car most of the time talking with people about swaps.
This was their first year attempting the swap meet. Maybe itll be better next year. What parts are you looking for?

I seen you and your car strolling around, now that I seen your pics ( I loved the door lettering ). It was for sure hot yesterday!!! I was wanting to see Clyde make a pass before I left, he had made a couple of passed earlier in the day. I must of missed them while I was checking out the other events. However we did get a chance to get together late in the evening but as he was fixing to make his last pass of the day, he develpoed a small coolant leak. Thanks to the tech guys in the staging lane they noticed it before he got into the waterbox.
( Clyde I hope you found a replacement bulk head fitting ). All in all we had a good time.
I actually like the 90~90 fourth gens those were my favorite years of that generation. You'll have to ride down to one of our meets in the Shoals area and hang out with us sometime.
As for parts I was just looking through the meet section, possibly at a set of heads. I found one guy that had a set of Trickflow's. He was somewhat high on them though. I was willing to take a chance on them but not at $ 1800.00, for that matter add a few hundred more and know that what you got is good. That's just the way that I look at it.
Have fun today and be careful on the ride back home.
