Well I received a few more parts today. My BTR pushrods came in so I went and picked them up. Installed the pushrods, new rockers, ported oil pump, and my front cover. Getting a little bit closer maybe it won't be to much longer now.

Yea my dad has always helped me out. He doesn't know all the technical stuff I do but he can turn a wrench pretty good. He finally broke down and got one. He loves it haha. His car needs a pump and injectors though. It runs out of fuel up top and gets lean. Figure it'll make over 400rwhp with the upgraded fuel stuff.

I've tried several times to get my dad to get something ls or swap one. He had a 120k mile 6.0 and 4l80 n a wrecked truck and had a 65 chevelle sittin there jus itchin for a motor but he lost interest and told me to part it out for him. Woulda been sweet he jus stuck on them old school motors

Yeah, change is not easy for some of us? I'm about 10 years behind myself, everybody os going turbo and I am just now building a NA car.

Hey guys. I'm looking for 4 channel backing plates for an LS1 axle. I need some to send to strange to install on my axle. I have reluctor rings. I found a set of LT1 plates but the brakes are smaller on the LT1 axle.

I'd be happy to buy a set, or swap you my set back as soon as my strange axle arrived. I just don't want to tear down my running rear to send off parts. Strange is saying a 4-6 week turn around and my car is moving fine just makes noise.

I am located in Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals area.

We sold everything bought another then sold that all to lol. Wish I had it when I started my swap but already had a 5.3 in my car. I think 01modlessz still has one of the 6.0 shortblocks i sold him he may sell and I have the 317 heads and a few electronics from the motor
