in terms of getting hit by tornadoes... Madison does get hit pretty often...
really the Shoals is the one who seems to luck out on getting "missed"... in the state of bama as far as tornadoes coming through: Tuscaloosa gets hit pretty often, Cullman/Arab get hit pretty often, and Madison gets hit pretty often... of course you COULD get hit at any time but those spots seem to be the "tornado alleys" of the state
now given, MOST of the time its not like April 27th, that was the perfect storm, and a system of that caliber has NEVER happened in modern times... so usually, its not that bad... and no matter where you go, you're going to have to deal with some kind of natural disaster

Cool. I activated your account this morning, so your login is fully registered now. I saw it come through last night on my phone, but I was dead tired.
The roads here all stay in really great condition. And that speaks highly of the city and state. We have some really nice windy roads literally minutes from your door, and 20 minutes gets you right out into picturesque country where you can just enjoy the road the way God intended. I never realized it, but the roads and area make up a big part of why the scene here is so large. That and the amount of disposable income.
