RWHP.us Track Day!!! (May 14th) 2011 RWHP.us TRACK DAY!
I am Happy to announce that RWHP.us 2011 will be having a Track Day on May 14th at Coastal Plains Dragway, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This event is open to all RWHP.us members, all Horsepowerjunkies members, all Yellow Bullet members, all LS1Tech members, and friends of. I urge all sponsors to come out and show support for the group! Food for the event will be a shared responsibility between members.
When:
May 14th, 2011
Gates open at 12:00pm - 4:30pm
Where:
Coastal Plains Dragway
4744 RICHLANDS HWY
JACKSONVILLE, NC 28541

COST:
$20.00 per person to race
$10.00 per person for spectator
Children under 12 get in free
All Nittos DRs and Street tires will only be allowed in the left lane. Drag Radials and Slicks will be allowed in both. I know it sounds crazy but this is the only way we'll have a hooking track all day long. We make the rules on this one guys.
We are still working on the classes for those who want a Quick 8, and index.
Food:
The concession stand will be closed so we are going to bring our own food and have a BBQ!
We are going to need people to volunteer to bring food and supplies, you can bring anything you want (POTLUCK).
Burgers (50+)
Hotdogs (20+)
Buns for Both
Ketchup
Relish
Cheese
Bags of Chips
Water
Soda
Ice
Paper Plates
Plastic wear
Plastic cups
Napkins
Folding Tables
Grills (either charcoal or Gas)
Coolers for ice, and drinks
Anyone who brings a Grill, I ask that you bring your own cooking utensils.
Extra Credit:
Anyone who owns a Pop-up canopy (like the 10x10 etc), please bring it. Same goes with folding chairs, and tables.
This will be a "Bring Your Own Beer" event (Please drink responsibly
)
