Default Custom 1996 Firebird Formula Charity Raffle - Win for $10

I donated my custom 96 Formula to charity. Check it out and please participate!

We need to sell 1000 tickets so we can hold the raffle. We're hoping to reach that goal by March 2012.

Details here about the car, the raffle, and the charity: http://www.newsongmissionnicaragua.com/raffle

Thanks man, I had paypal originally, but they don't allow you to use their services for a "game of chance" so I had to remove it.

BUT...you can send a paypal payment to me and i'll make sure you get your tickets. Just be sure not to use the word RAFFLE at all. Apparently it's a giant red flag for them.

evanpdixon@gmail.com is the address

Money will be refunded, but that is very unlikely to be necessary.

No offense but this sounds really weird for charity. You donated the car but if you can't get 10 grand for it, it won't go?!? The whole point of a raffle is chance. No matter how many tickets are sold......

Yeah, that's the approach that was decided since raffling off cars wasn't something the organization has done in the past. Unfamiliar territory. There's been a lot of interest so far - probably 500-600 tickets sold - so it doesn't seem like it will be an issue to sell the total amount in a reasonable timeframe.

The whole point of entering the raffle is chance, and with this one you have set odds. One in one thousand, per ticket. The point of holding the raffle is to make money for the cause.

Anyway, thanks for the concern and you are welcomed to join in! We'd love to see a f-body enthusiast end up with this awesome ride!

Any just to clarify, the car is the property of the charity now. It has been donated. They can choose to do whatever they wish with it, so if they wanted to draw the winner early (if ticket sales seem to taper off) then they certainly could. The goal is 1000, and it seems possible.

Just got the idea to post here to give f-body lovers a chance to get involved and sell the last few hundred tickets.

It shouldn't take too long!
