Help need a tune in Huntsville Alabama
#21
Not that it's really worth anything but the only reason I didn't recommend Clyde is I did not know he was wanting to tune cars for random people. He came to a dyno day I hosted years ago and was a pleasant individual to deal with. Plus his car put down big power and is still together so he must know a thing or two about tuning.

You know how i roll.. They're all smokin so its hard for me to keep track!!! Bahahaha
Glad to see you back at it.. I will say when i went to get this last tune there was nothing negative to be said about yours, which i knew. Little more expensive but I had to get one.
Idle ended a little high but she runs strong!!

If I didn't tune my own stuff... I'd go with Clyde (Chevy406)... He knows all about the tuning and hasn't dealt with enough ******** to turn him against it yet! He's a 100% Good guy. All I know about "the other guy" is that I've personally witnessed a total loss fire on the dyno he orchestrated and told the customer "tough ****". That day I gave that 70yr old man a ride home after his "tuner" ran off... That changed my outlook on tuning and tolerance I have for bullshit. I almost feel bad for Clyde for the hassle he will end up dealing with down the road. He'll meet that ********** that "read it on LS1tech" and know why I don't tune for the average ******* any longer.
Btw... Flame away *******, my skin is as thick as your old ladies thighs!!

I just felt my stomach tighten up a little after reading Gomer's predictions. Yeah, I already have a sense of what he is talking about. I've already started asking folks about what injectors they are using. I'm not even going to try tuning cars that have no-name injectors any more. Then there is the 10+ hour a day real job that gets in the way, along with maintaining my own fleet (2 teen drivers). Time is something I am fairly short on.
Thanks for the comments Skillet. By the way my C5 is up to 281,000 miles now still on the stock shortblock. Might have a little piston slap when its cold but it still gets me down the road.
