Thanks Becky, NL and Steven, I had a great time tonight! Will have to do it again once Greer opens back up for the season. Steven man your car haulled when you hit the juice!!!!! You'll have to take me for a ride sometime! Had a fun ride back too, have been wanting to line them up to see how they do, next time we should go from a slow roll 20 or so, I'm curious to see how I do. Oh ya if anyone is interested my slicks are up for sale, not sure how much yet but let me know if anyone is interested. All in all it was a great night!

Nope, they are too small for the truck. I used to have to turn my car to 5500rpm's to really turn them over good without them hooking up in order to do the burnout; on my truck it turns them over easily at 1500rpms doing the burnout. First time I launched I went sideways on the slicks and spun bad. Everytime after that they spun then hooked. I ran faster when I put my 20in rims and tires back on. I'm going to need a 28in+ slick for that thing more money.

Ya I suppose but it still kinda sucks being the *slow* one in the group now lol. Oh well in about 2 years I'll look at doing another f-body again more than likely.

What did you run, Sly? Pretty sweet when you can say you overpowered your slicks.

On slicks my MPH was down by 1.5 to 2 and it was tough to get an 8.4 out of it. Went down on street tires, feathered it some off the line and ripped an 8.4 the first pass down.
