Default collector car insurance

does anybody have any suggestions on ins? i can't find anyone to insure it as its to new......i drove my car a whopping 500mi last year and still have to pay 1100.00 per yr on ins. any help is appreciated btw i'm 37 (old man) 1 (comes off in may ) ticket and no accedents ins companies

try grundy, dunno if they will do or cars, but they do classics etc. we are looking for the same thing for our SS cause it hardly gets any miles. let me know what you find out

Another line of thought here is a "stated value" policy. What you do is get the car appraised , then you and the insurance company agree in writing to the actual value of the car. Many different companies offer this.Be sure to get everything in writing , however.

A stated value policy isn't a bad idea, my friend's got it on his Dart for 10k(more than the is worth). Unfortunately, you have to own about 3 other cars (from what he says about his policy).

Yep , that's why I think a stated value policy would be better in your case. They don't care how new or old the car is.

I have a '98 T/A heavily Modified with a show quality paint job. I exhibited the car in the World of Wheels, took a picture from the show, submitted to Grundy for insurance. They agreed to provide stated value insurance for $40,000. Costs me under $575/yr. Car must be garage kept and cannot be your daily driver.
