First GTO long tube install done...
This was me and Ken (ss rally red) first GTO. Aside from a couple of small snags that thing is cake. passenger side was out/in and done in 20 mins. Driver side is the biatch in those cars.
All in all it was a breeze......and i judge that by the amount of blood lost....

Dont let anyone lock the steering column when you are trying to hook the steering shaft back up (It has to run between the primary tubes) makes it a little hard to get things lined back up.LOL

Thanks to Jason & Ken for the install today.. Yeah I accidentally took the keys to lunch ..
The Kooks sound amazing with the stock exhaust, can't wait for the SLP Powerflow to come in this week and put it on.

It will be hard to pass PadreGTO on ls1gto (not sure if he's on here)..
Think he's putting down 393/389 in an A4 car.. I guess with the right cam maybe I can crack 400 though Think these cars have a little more drivetrain loss though..

Yes, the driver's side is a muthafucka the first time you do it but the GTO has a **** ton more room to work around in over the F-body. Too bad they look like Grand Prix's

Well here is the dyno results.. Only 17rwhp, so I'm curious to see what the tune will get me.. I guess 17 isn't too bad.. The other number is with the LPE CAI, which got me 9 rwhp over stock.. So this run was with the LPE CAI & Kooks LTs.. I have the SLP Powerflow sitting in my garage, as well as the tune ready to be installed..

Kind of bad that my 02 Z28 dyno'd higher with just a lid/catback.. I think there is a little more than 15% drivetrain loss on these things.. Although the '02 had 6k miles on it where as this has 1600.
