yeah its not legal.....but ive never had a problem with having mine. If i get pulled over i just pull it down and throw it in the glovebox.
Now VA on the other hand...you dont wanna drive through there with one.

I have the Valentine radar--the thang has saved my sorry skinny azz numerous times. Now explain this to me, if I can pick them up, can't they inturn pick up my detector?
I've heard horror stories where in VA for example, the cop can take it from you.
I don't understand why in the hell any sound reasoning person would want to live in VA, anyway.

Its not leagal but cops dont mess with you about it. Hell it picks them up before you can even see them. Just make sure that he is shooting it at another car cause if you are speeding and he hits you and it goes off and you can see him and he hits you with it, its all ready to late he's got you. The only dissadvantage to that thing. My suggestion when you see him and you are allready running 95-100 down shift and put both feet on the gas, all ways works for us.

Ive been pulled numerous times. The only time they've ever messed with me was when I got a speeding ticket one time. The cop said with a shitty little grin "well, looks like your detector didn't work for you this time" and then gave me the ticket.
If I'm not mistaking there is only like 2-3 places they are illegal. I know VA is one and I think D.C. too.
